Must have accessory
2008-09-15Definitely adds to the usability of the saw. Easy to install. Would have given it 5 stars, but it droops slightly when fully extended. It still offers improved functionality/productivity for the price.

TS 1003 Left Side Support
2008-05-19This is just what I was looking for and it was very easy to install.

Product Great but beware of Amazon Customer Service!
2008-05-05I purchased 2 Side supports and received 2 boxes, one with product and one empty! The actual product is really quite nice. However, I tried to contact customer support via their automated email about receiving an empty box and they wanted me to send the product (that doesn't exist) back.
A human does not read or can not read the complaints. Very poor customer relations. I will not buy from these folks again! If I sound like sour grapes, your right. I just wanted a real person to contact me! Is that too much to ask?

Worthless Product
2008-04-18It's hard to believe that this product is made by Bosch. The table saw is fantastic, yet Bosch seemed to produce this part with virtually no thought. It sags significantly, hence, what's the point... you need to keep the wood flush to the table saw, so the extension isn't even in use.
The worst part is that it barely extends outward. It doesn't extend nearly as far as the other side of the table, so you're better off just moving the board to the right side of the table.
Do not waste your money on this product!

Great addition to a great saw!
2007-12-24I had the saw for about a year when I bought this extension and the rear one.
The saw has tapped holes ready for Both of them, they mount independently and work very well.
The illustration shows them both in a with rails in the vertical position which makes hard for a left handed person to visualize how they support the work. Of course for the less challenged you could automatically tell that they were mount to the underside of the table and slide out for use. My brain was trying to see how these legs could support it from the floor...duh!
Anyway, if you work alone (which you shouldn't of course!!!) they are a godsend.
