Lexmark #16 Black Ink Cartridge (10N0016)

I can print about 25 pages with these cartridges and then they completely stop printing. Go with something else like the HP printers, their cartridges are half the price and can print up to 400 pages on one cartridge.

Did have problem with first cartridge, but vendor made it right, and replaced initial item with good replacement and return auth to send initial ship back. Would and will use again

I print all the time and this printer cartridge lasts a long time and is crisp with every print. I have printed coupons, pictures and documents and still have ink left for more.

The ink works great once the cartridge is installed, but my hands got covered with ink taking the cartridge out of the bag.

Lexmark printers are incredibly inexpensive and print off quality documents. A person can purchase a decent Lexmark printer for about the quarter of the price of other printers. The dirty little secret is that Lexmark really isn't in the business of selling printers, but of selling printer ink. The ink cartridges in a Lexmark printer only last for about 30-50 pages before emptying out. The LEXMARK #16 BLACK INK CARTRIDGE is a better quality cartridge than the LEXMARK #17 BLACK IN CARTRIDGE. Not only is the ink of a slightly higher quality, but there is also more ink in the cartridge and it doesn't clog up as easily. You can buy this cartridge online for a better price than in a retail store and if you buy an ink refill kit, such as those made by Nu-kote, you can almost get your money's worth from this ink cartridge. Overall, this is a better cartridge than Lexmark #17 and if you have a Lexmark printer that requires this cartridge type, this is the black ink cartridge you'll want to buy.
