Motorola 484095-001-00 Signal Booster

I am using CXXXXXX Communication Cable TV & Internet services. Before using the Motorola Signal Booster, Internet connection drops frequently (no downloading and just regular browsing) and I have to restart the cable modem every time I got disconnected. Because of this, I was about to open a reliable DSL service. Then I remembered Motorola has this cable signal booster. So I decided to give it a shot.
Installation of the booster is very easy and it took me no open than 5 minutes. Once I fired up the booster, I am like .... WOW. My internet connection is very stable. I even tested it will P2P downloading software and Skype and no disconnect at all.
In terms of TV picture, I don't see any significant improvement with my bare eyes. So I cannot confirm what other users said. All I can say is that this booster saved me from ordering a seperate DSL service and I will definitely recommend others to buy this product if you have the same internet connection problem. 4 stars because no improvement or no significant improvement on TV pictures.

Tried this unit on both my satellite and VHF/UFH roof antenna connections in all possible locations from house entrance point to right before the TV. It invariably would transform a 70% signal into a 0% signal. I thought the unit might be defective so replaced it for a new one. Same problem. This unit is less than useless for over the air (OTA) signals. The documentation that came with the unit is deceptive in claiming that it will work for OTA applications.

Fortunately, Amazon has been very good about returns.

Works Well, signal is stronger in all my tv connections (5 connections over the whole house.

My high speed internet signal was marginal due to several TV sets
hooked up to the cable. I used a cable signal meter and measured
the signal before and after I installed the booster. WOW! I got
a nice clean signal and have had NO drop outs since.

Had ongoing problems with a weak signal on a spliiter. Tried several other boxes.

All the channels except one improved dramatically with this unit.
