Convenient for flip video2010-03-15
I purchased this cable to use with the ultra flip video. Using the cable prevents the connection on the video cam from bending. It was well worth the purchase.
Great Cable2010-01-07
I needed a short USB cable extension to hook my Flip video camcorder into my desktop USB ports, without risking breaking the USB arm on the Flip itself. This cable was perfect size, promptly shipped, reasonably priced and does the job intended. Would buy again if needed.
Does Not Work With Everything!2010-01-01
The description does not state that it is USB 2.0 compatible and it does not work with every device. I bought this to use with my devices that have a proprietary connection such as my MP3 and cell phone that I only connect occasionally so I do not have to keep changing cables all the time. It works with the MP3 but not the cell phone.
3-Foot (1-Meter) USB Extension Cable2009-12-29
This is a good buy that I got from VORTEX CABLE who sold the cable here on Amazon. I'm using this USB extension cable to connect to the cable for a scanner and it works. I tried this extension cable with my Flip UltraHD camcorder, but it didn't work for me. So I'm using a shorter 6-Inch USB Extension Cable with my Flip camera. Anyways, I'm planning on getting another one of these longer 3-Foot (1-Meter) USB extension cables because I think I could always use another one.

Update Jan. 3, 2010: I got this cable working with my Flip UltraHD when I connected this 3-Foot (1-Meter) USB Extension cable to a USB add-on pci card that I installed on the motherboard of my sister's desktop computer. Got access to the drive on the Flip and also fully charged the rechargeable battery on the Flip UltraHD. I guess the USB add-on pci card that I installed on the motherboard had more power. When I previously tried this 3-Foot (1-Meter) USB extension cable with my Flip UtraHD camcorder but was unsuccessful, that was when plugging the cable into the USB port on my macbook. But the desktop PC in this particular situation had better success. Go figure. I guess it could be hit or miss. Your results may vary because I've also seen problems with USB ports on other desktop PCs when trying to connect to other devices. Anyways, I'm getting another one of these cables since I gave the one I had to my sister for her desktop computer.
I wanted an extension cable and I got one2009-12-16
This was exactly what I wanted - I needed an extension cable so I got one.
