Mr Heater F274800 Portable "Big Buddy" Heater

My best friend recommended to me to buy this heater for use when I'm out back giving my Beagles a cleaning after they come in from a hunt. I have a 10 foot by 10 foot shack with water and a hose and after washing them off the heater makes it easier to keep them warm while I dry them off. It also keeps me warm and makes this dirty job as nice as it can be. The dogs also like it because they stand in front of the heater while waiting to get dried. The fan helps move the heat around and I'm sweating by the time I get to the last dog so I turn it down to the medium setting. My dogs and I love this little heater.

I bought this heater to use for projects in my outbuilding. It has worked very well and made working in it very comfortable. We also had our power go out from some storms just recently and I was able to keep our large ranch house fairly warm, around 55 degees or so, for over a day when outdoor temperatures dropped below 30 degrees. As we moved to different areas of the house we moved the heater with us and enjoyed the warmth it gave. I have recommended this unit to all my neighbors and friends. It was GREAT!

I just purchased my second Big Buddy for my Brother and he is overjoyed with it's operation and portablity. He uses it in the garage for projects because he doesn't have a basement. It also gets used in the three seasons room and makes the temperature very comfortable, in fact it would be nice if the heater had a thermostat to turn it on and off because it makes the room too warm even at it's lowest setting.

This is the second Big Buddy heater I have gotten. We have short but cold power outages in my area and this heater does a great job in maintaining the house temperature at a comfortable level until the power and the furnace come back on. It's also convenient because it can easily be moved from room to room and I also use it in my garage when working on projects. I bought a second one for my daughter and got her the hose with the quick disconnect and regulator for safer operation indoors since they tell me that the pressure in the hose is only 1/2 psi pressure.

I've had my Big Buddy since 2006 and use it all the time. I restore cars for a hobby and find myself in the garage quite a bit. This heater really takes the chill of the air when it's cold outside. It's portable and easy to use. The optional hoses that are available allow me to connect it to a 20# propane tank which is great for when I may be using the heater for extended periods of time. Amazon has a great price on the Big Buddy so I just purchased one for my son. It will come in handy for his outdoor projects or family camping trips.
