Garmont Women's Passo Hiking Boot

I bought these to wear backpacking in the Grand Canyon. There was snow and ice on the first 3 miles of the trail, and the trail was quite exposed and unforgiving. These boots were great. They kept my feet warm and dry and gripped the trail, slipping only when I was on actual ice--I think crampons would have slipped in those places too! I m so glad I had them! They look a little funky, but they worked for me.

These boots are very well constructed. I could have bought them 1/2 size smaller as the sizing is very generous. The inside bottoms are hard so I had to use the optional inserts that come with them (which helps compensate for the extra length).

I bought these shoes due to other reviews. I didn't believe them but I needed a decent hiking boot. I got them in and I have went everywhere in them. Their not just a great hiking boot but also a just going around town shoe. I am very pleased with them. The only Con I have is the shoe laces are just a little to short. Other than that OUTSTANDING!!!

I was so disappointed with this product. I had had them sent to a friend in the USA because the company don't deliver to Australia - and then I paid $40 to have them sent on to Australia, But when the boots finally arrived here in Australia, they were 4-5 cm longer than the sizes listed on Amazon. So now , what do I do ? - pay $40 more to return boots to Amazon and then another $40 to have the right size boots sent to me in Australia?? I really don't know what to do. It's made me think buying clothing or footwear online is a really bad idea.

Just a wonderful product. They fit wonderfully, didn't take any breaking in, don't need to be laced up super-tight, and provide great support and traction. A superb value.
