Canon Lens Hood EW78B-II + 3 Piece 72mm Filter Kit + Accessory Kit

Guess a big portion of the price of this kit goes to the hood itself since it is from Canon. Also, since it is the original hood, the construction and quality is pretty good. The rest of the things in the kit are pretty much what you get in other camera kits and they are all cheap and may not be useful most of the times.

Needed a lens hood for my new Canon 28-135 IS lens. ( the cheapskates at Canon don't include one). The hood with the kit looked like a good deal, since I also needed a UV filter and circular polarizer for my lens. The hood is fine - it is the Canon-branded hood for this lens. The lens filter kit (Ziekos brand which I have never heard of but is made in Japan)is not as good. The lenses come in a nice leather-like bag and the UV filter is fine. The polarizer is not very good, however, and the first time I shot with it, my images were washed out pretty badly. I immediately ordered a new HOYA Polarizer and it made all the difference in the world. I haven't used the flourescent filter, since I rarely shoot indoors under that lighting. The cleaning cloth, lens cleaning pen and strap are throw-ins of dubious quality and usefulness. I guess I would have to say that I got what I paid for with this deal.

As with any filters and hoods they do their job. I enjoy using these products to enhance my photos.

The hood is great and works as it should. It's a little big when trying to store it away in your camera bag, but I love the way you can reverse it on your lense and place it away. If you thanking of buying one I say get it. It works well and it's professional looking.

The hood has good quality but too expensive. The filters seem cheap but the UV filter does not do what it suppose to do.
