Hands free
2008-12-02I like this hands free unit, it has a really clear speaker and it is loud enough to hear. Callers have complained of hearing an echo when I am talking.
I am not sure if this is my phone or the Blueant.

Wish I could give this 0 stars
2008-12-01This thing stinks! It worked great for a little while, but now it's a piece of crud! I wanna throw it out the car window.
Everyone I call has a difficult time understanding me, if at all. It cuts in and out a lot. My fiance always thinks my radio is on, he hears that much background noise. My callers also say that they can hear themselves, which they find real annoying.
Voice dialing is a joke too. It rarely understands me.
The latest and newest thing it does, is not transfer audio to itself. It will connect to my phone fine...it does that well, at least. But, when I make a call, it will not "take" the call audio, so I still have to talk on my cell phone like normal...in California...it's making me break the law. What's funny, is that, it's connected, won't "take" the audio of my call, but when I hang up the phone it announces "end of call".
I want to return it since I dropped a good amount for it, but I can't figure out how...I don't have paperwork or the packaging anymore.
Don't waste your money.

Not so good, I had to return it.
2008-11-30I bought this on recommendation from one of my friends. It does do a good job of pairing with a bluetooth enabled phone. The problem is the mike; it stinks. You get tons of background noise as well you end up shouting for folks to hear you. Good idea, bad implementation.

Doesn't work with LG Phones
2008-11-29The phone directory will not synchronize with my LG VX8700 nor with my wife's LG Chocolate. The speaker volume will vary from use to use and it will sometimes not connect to the phone at all, forcing me to reboot both devices before it will connect. When it is connected, the voice will repeatedly tell you that it is "Connected to phone". The firmware is not upgradeable so there is no way to fix these shortcomings.

works well but hard to set up sometimes
2008-11-26Can be an extremely frustrating product to set up especially if you're setting up more than one phone to use it. If you make a mistake you can't back up and there are no instructions to fix problems especially with the second or third phone. If you make a mistake setting up the second phone you cannot get it to work period! I found the secret only after speaking to a very unfriendly Indian from the company for over an hour. He told me when you make ANY mistake that you can't fix press and hold the green button for over 30 or more seconds and it will clear all and you can start from the beginning again. Also the second phone contact list does not always pick up by the blueant so you must follow the steps for updating your contact list and it will pick up the whole list then.
All in all a very frustrating set up process but now that it's working it works fairly well. The commands from the blueant supertooth are too quiet. You have to listen very closely but the voices of real people are okay.
