Great quality and no problems after more than a year. Wish it used less ink.
2009-12-30I haven't had any problems whatsoever (using XP) with this printer. Was simple to set up and use and the print quality is great.
I just wish it didn't consume so much ink. I have learned that I'm much less frustrated if I spend a little extra $ to get XL cartridges.

Hungry for Ink
2009-12-28Prints nice, copies nice, absolutely gobbles up ink, at least from the cartridges that are provided.
There are Xl cartridges for an XL price, not happy with ink consumption.
Six photos and one cartridge is almost empty!!!!

One year out and still annoying -
2009-12-27NOT RECOMMENDED. Bought this early in 09 to replace a much-loved 4-in-one HP. The biggest issue for me, which no one else seems to have trouble with, is replacing the black print (not photo) cartridge. All four cartridges sit together-yellow, cyan, magenta and printer black and, on my unit, they are all identical in width. The colors can be replaced by buying a combo-pack; photo black is readily available, too. But printer black on my unit has a bow-tie symbol on the cartridge. Buy a replacement with a round symbol and I get a blue cartridge that is about 1/8" too wide for the space in the printer. Other features are spiffy: great photos, sharp documents, etc. It is noisy, however and guzzles ink like I can't believe. Reminds me of the old Polaroid cameras, they were a dirt-cheap loss-leader for expensive film. This HP 7560 printer is a cheap loss-leader for a ton of expensive ink. For document printing, I'll be replacing it before the year is out. I'll keep it on hand for the occasional home-printed photo.

Great choice
2009-12-27I down graded on setup because I'm not that good at technical stuff. It is quite noisy and it takes a little before it prints, but it's an HP, inexpensive and prints great, thats just what I wanted.

Worst printer I have ever owned
2009-12-21This printer does one thing reasonably well, and that is print a photograph. For any other use, it is a huge step backwards in the science of computer peripherals. The properties interface is poorly designed, as if the programmer were on a hangover, or (more likely the case) the programming and software for this printer was written by college students in another country to save money for HP. Speaking of money, if you plan on using this printer for more than an occasional document (not even mentioning a photograph here), you will end up spending the cost of the printer in ink, twice yearly. I am actually looking forward to throwing this printer out, and I will before I buy any additional ink. Also, the HP software is a drain on resources, and is set to constantly check for updates, and to monitor your use of the printer and send it to HP, i.e. a privacy issue to say the least.
